CHAMPION ENTERPRISES, Troy, MI, 4/2007 10/2008

 Perform business process reengineering and process improvement analysis to determine best practices among 30 manufacturing plants across the US and Canada. Design custom software solutions to solve business problems. Develop training programs for current software capabilities and for released custom development.

      Designed and enabled both process and system automation for internal and external customers through cost effective solutions adhering to Champion Enterprises SDLC. I redesigned sales order processing procedures to streamline sales and manufacturing process and then implemented EDI using SoftShare ECS, Delta and MS SQL queries to process invoices and payments creating approximately $1.5 million in new working capital for each of 30 manufacturing plants.

      Effectively communicated application changes to the affected parties by developing end user training documentation, creating and distributing release notes, and providing end user training for hundreds of standard and custom software solutions.

      Provided post implementation support for the implemented solutions; including analyzing issues to determine the best solutions, and working with technical teams to get the changes implemented. Acted as 2nd tier support for advanced issues and provided training to help desk personnel on new functionality.

     Coordinated with all organizations involved to gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, provide estimates, and create functional specification documents (e.g. input data acquisition, output requirements, data validation, retention, archiving, and system techniques and controls). Created functional test scenarios/scripts, performed testing, and obtained user acceptance of the developed solutions.

      Integrated new procedures and computer support systems, automated labor-intensive processes, and redefined process flow instrumental in reducing inventory variance, manufacturing overhead, and inventory levels. Re-engineered a fully integrated custom development of a Product Configurator to provide the ability to move to perpetual inventory tracking and accounting for the largest Navision installation in the US


NATIONWIDE, 9/2003 4/2007

Direct enterprise-wide software implementations, warehouse material handling systems design, and operations consulting for leading ERP Manufacturing and financial management software products (Vantage, Vista, Commerce Connect and SX Enterprise) for growing and established businesses. Lead implementations of ERP and Web-Based software systems in manufacturing and distribution environments. Provide on-site and web-based end user training and 2nd tier support.

    Became the regional expert in AP, AR, and General Ledger in order to support ERP implementations for eight (8) regional implementation consultants. 

Performed Data Migration and conversions from the legacy systems to the new ERP system by creating Progress queries and extracts, MS Access queries, extracts, and data scrubbing, and finally Progress programs to import the new data.

Established two (2) new distribution centers and trained all distribution center employees to service six (6) Delphi plant and three (3) General Motors plants.

      Designed warehouses and material handling systems to support Delphi and GM MRO inventory 


ALL SEASONS, Howell, MI, 12/2001 9/2003

Oversee all aspects of corporate purchasing and inventory control for eight retail stores and main warehouse with responsibility for warehouse operations, training, computer systems, and infrastructure for provider of high-quality products for the home. 



CENTRAL DATA SYSTEMS, Farmington, MI, 1999 12/2001

 Directed enterprise-wide software implementations, operations consulting, and warehouse material handling systems design for a leader in financial management software for growing and established businesses. Lead implementations of NxTrends Trend, Sx Enterprise, and TWL software systems.

     Managed dozens of Trend and Sx Enterprise ERP software implementation, several concurrently, across the United States.

      Spearheaded the planning, facilitation, and management of numerous projects encompassing facility design, material handling system design and implementation, ERP enterprise-wide software implementations, inventory control, order processing, purchasing, and other diverse operational improvements by incorporating a team approach in carrying out each unique initiative.



Managed operations for $20 million wholesale distributor of janitorial supplies throughout two locations with 50 employees.

      Implemented ISO 9001 Certification program.




Directed enterprise-wide software implementations for provider of complete solutions for the manufacturing, hospitality, service, telecommunications, and wholesale distribution industries with products to include business software, industry-specific and generic computer hardware, telecommunications systems, and complete range of implementation and support services.

      Created and executed operational evaluations for clients, developed and implemented project plans for improvements, and tracked and reported project progress while consistently achieving outstanding results to include up to 400% increases in productivity and 90% reductions in process and inventory errors. These projects included system enhancements and process improvements for distribution centers across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

      Designed a fully integrated WMS system and implemented it in dozens of distribution warehouses.

      Designed dozens of warehouses and material handling systems, performed business process reengineering in the areas of inventory control, order processing, purchasing, warehousing, AR, and AP.



AMERICAN YAZAKI CORP, Canton, Mi, 1986 1991

      Established five branch operations in the U.S. and Canada for Japan-based manufacturer of automotive wire harnesses, carrying out all facets of responsibility from site selection and lease negotiation to facility design, recruiting, staffing, training, and designing a material handling system. Remained responsible for distribution center operations in all facilities.

      Managed operations of a $60 million per year sales and distribution center providing sales, purchasing, distribution, engineering, quality control, accounting, and administrative functions within a multi-national corporation.

      Managed sales, inventory, purchasing, and distribution within two North American operations with more than $20 million in inventory and $400 million in annual sales. Realized reductions in A/R over 90 days from $1.2 million to $200 thousand, as well as reductions in DSO from more than 50 to a stable 35.

      Accomplished zero inventory variances and zero transaction errors in several distribution warehouses with SKUs ranging from 600 to 20,000 with average inventory values from $1.1 million to more than $20 million. Also maintained 12 to 18 inventory turns throughout numerous distribution warehouses with domestic and global suppliers significantly reducing obsolescence and dead stock exposure within volatile markets while maintaining over 99% service levels.
